Introductory post

Oh, the joys of creation. The bliss of sitting down with someone to eat after working hard in the kitchen. The looming despair of washing the dishes. I'm getting lost right now...

Anyways, as the sidebox implies, I do like making stuff! I'm trying to get more into other things, so you will probably be seeing my attempts at whatever strikes me fancy this week. After all, making this lousy pure-html website was one of my many whims of the moment. And now I have to commit to the bit, yippee! (parenthesis: this is actual, sincere joy)

Cooking

Lately I haven't been taking many pictures of what I cook, but I do try new dishes pretty often. I have to expand my skills cuz sometimes I feel like an one-trick pony when it comes to, for example, baking. I have perfected scones and poundcake, so I'm sure I can get better at other things!

Soldering

Well, if I have to work around old consoles, I do need to know how to deal with repairs! I have been practicing a bit and managed to so some minor things, like changing my GBC speaker (sound was crackling and nasty, so I needed to). It's kind of scary, but at the same time it's been a nice skill to acquire!

Maybe more

You know how they say "don't say what you are going to do because you're not gonna do it" or something like that? Well, I will be updating this site WHEN I'm done with those things, and not before. Otherwise I will be forever exposed as a SHAM or something.
